THE ROLE AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Large Supplier Account Management
- Maintaining ongoing
relationship with supplier – liaising with Credit Controller
- Control and upkeep of P/L account
Processing Purchase Invoices
- Registering
invoices
- Matching purchase invoices to delivery notes and goods received notes
- Price, quantity and
part code checking invoices to purchase orders
- General ledger coding of invoices to the comprehensive coding system
- Obtaining authorisation for overhead invoices
- Maintaining invoice register and other invoice logs
- Enter details of documents processed on batch control
Credit Note Processing
- Processing credit notes and allocation of debit notes to
credits
- Maintaining debit note log
Supplier
Queries
- Initiating and following up of invoice queries - dealing with suppliers and internal staff/managers
Supplier Statement Reconciliation
- Checking
all invoices/credits on statement have been received, requesting copies if needed
Payments
- Assist Accounts Payable Manager with payments when necessary
Month End Procedures
- GRNI analysis
- Report printing
• Archiving
and Other Ad Hoc Duties

The salary on offer is up to £17,500-£19,000 per annum. The successful candidate will
also received standard company benefits (21 days holiday rising to a maximum of 25 with length of service and life assurance
at 4x basic salary).
